Enterprise Zones The Enterprise Zone Program targets economically distressed areas throughout California. Special state and local incentives encourage business investment and promote the creation of new jobs. The purpose of the program is to provide tax incentives to businesses and allow private sector market forces to revive the local economy.
Enterprise Zone - Jacksonville The City of Jacksonville applied for and received an official Enterprise Zone designation, effective July 1, 1995. An Enterprise Zone is an area targeted for economic revitalization. Jacksonville's Enterprise Zone allows qualified businesses to take advantage of the financial incentives offered by the State as well as the local government.
